Esther Chapter 10

Est 10:1 And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land,

and upon the isles of the sea.

Est 10:2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the

declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king

advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles

of the kings of Media and Persia?

Est 10:3 For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus,

and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his

brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to

all his seed.

Vs 1-3 The king laid a tribute upon the land and islands of the sea. He declared, in the

book of the kings records, the greatness of Mordecai. How Mordecai was

advanced in the kingdom, to sit next unto the king. How Mordecai was interested

in seeking the wellbeing of the Jews at all times. How Mordecai only spoke peace

unto his people and all of his seed.

God, just as He has led and kept the Jew, will lead and keep the church. God

wants to lead you. He states in His Word (Ps 32:8) “I will instruct thee and teach

thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide you with mine eye”.

Many today are not walking and being led by the perfect will of God. Many are

led by their own selfish will, working everything out by themselves, then the

storm hits and then they cry out for God’s help. Only by His providence, can they

make it through, if they are out of His will.

My friend, God wants to lead your life more than by providence. He wants to lead

your life directly, step by step, day by day, in His perfect Will. If you would come

to Him, repenting of your selfish leadership and motives, and allow Him to guide

you daily, then you may know the joy of walking, living and serving in His

perfect will, by His direct leadership.
